小船不必自惭，只要运好，顺风顺水，一生虽不能大富大贵，平安健康也是福。
巨轮也不必得意，运走的不好，一生怀才不遇、坎坷起伏。
从某种意义上讲，运比命更重要，只有了解了人生中哪一个阶段运“吉”，哪一个阶段运"凶"，才能顺势而为、趋吉避凶，这也是命理学的价所在。
In Chinese astrology, fate and fortune are two distinct concepts. In the journey of life, if fortune is a river, then fate is the boat on that river. The combination of one's birth chart (Ba Zi) can determine their social standing, wealth, or poverty, revealing whether they are a large ship or a small boat.
A small boat need not feel ashamed,as long as fortune is good and things go smoothly, even if they don't achieve great wealth and status, peace and health are a blessing.
A large ship should not be complacent either, if fortune is unfavorable, they may experience a life of unfulfilled potential and hardship.
In a sense, fortune is more important than fate. Only by understanding which stages of life are auspicious and which are inauspicious can one act in accordance with the circumstances, seeking good fortune and avoiding misfortune. This is the value of Chinese astrology.
